Picks up guitar, teaches himself to play

1983-1984

Inspired by Boise's budding punk/wavo music scene, Frank joins with fellow alt enthusiasts to form The Pugs – a Cramps/Stray Cats inspired punk band

          Echo And The Bunnymen

          The Clash

          Sex Pistols

1985-1986

          Plays with Stygian Shores – melodic instrumental group

1986-1989

          Jams with a few different groups that don’t really go anywhere

          Moves to Denver

          Moves back to Boise

New musical influences:

          Mudhoney

          Nirvana

          U-Men

1989-1991

Plays with Blank Frank and the Tattooed Gods – Sub Pop style band whose highlights include opening for Nirvana and Social Distortion (Mark attends this concert)

1991-2003

          Retires from the music scene, starts family

New musical influences:

Frank’s all over the map and finds something to appreciate in just about any type of music

2003-present

Wife decides she wants to be married to a rock star, encourages formation of Idle Chatter – an acoustic duo showcasing the eclectic musical influences of its members
